Indeed Flex officially launches in the US as interest in seasonal work soars<\/span><\/i><\/p>\r\n

Austin, TX,<\/b> - The number of Americans taking on a temporary job to top up their income this holiday season<\/span> has surged, according to a new analysis by <\/span>Indeed Flex<\/span><\/a>, the online marketplace for flexible and temporary workers.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

The findings come as the Indeed Flex brand formally launches across the US with a multi-state advertising campaign.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Its research has found that interest in flexible work during the holiday season is soaring, with one in eight (<\/span>12%<\/b>) US adults already looking proactively for seasonal work, <\/span>14%<\/b> planning to start looking soon and more than a quarter (<\/span>28%) <\/b>considering searching for temp work during the holiday season<\/span>1<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Seasonal jobs in fast-moving sectors, including hospitality, retail, and logistics, are proving especially popular as Americans grapple with rapidly rising food prices and interest rates.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n

With US consumer inflation running at 8.3% a year<\/span>2<\/span>, Indeed Flex\u2019s analysis reveals that a quarter (<\/span>26%<\/b>) of those planning to take up seasonal work this winter are doing so to top up their income. Another <\/span>18%<\/b> say they want to do temporary work to earn extra money to buy holiday gifts for friends and family.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Indeed Flex, which is part of the Indeed family and officially launches its first mass media campaign across multiple cities in the US this week, makes searching for temporary and flexible work effortless.<\/span><\/p>\r\n
